John Anthony Green sentenced this week
A man who rowed with his girlfriend before assaulting a female police officer has been sent to prison.
Forty-four-year-old John Anthony Green, of Stanley Mount in Ramsey, admitted provoking behaviour, criminal damage and assaulting a police officer.
He appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse this week for sentencing.
The court heard he'd been drunk during an argument at his girlfriend's home in February, and damaged the gate belonging to Ramsey Commissioners before leaving the scene.
