Maiden Voyage for Blue Vannin
If you're feeling all blue and want to "Take Five" this evening, then you should put on your walkin' shoes and head to the Queen's Hotel on Douglas Promenade.
The first of what's hoped will be regular "jazz club" sessions takes place tonight (Thurs 29th)
House band "Blue Vannin" will be laying down some cool grooves - with the hope other jazzers won't just listen, but join in.
One of the organisers - sax player and occasional lawyer Jerry Carter - says there's no entry fee - it's just a chance for like-minded souls to have a blow . . . even if it's something of a maiden voyage.
