Coastguard teams help injured man onto ambulance at the sea terminal
A jet skier has been thrown against Douglas sea wall after his machine broke down.
Coastguard crews were called out to the incident, which happened yesterday afternoon.
People nearby on the promenade were able to help the jet skier out of the water before teams arrived.
Due to the proximity to the wall and the promenade refurbishment works, the coastguard used a 'spinal board' and stretcher to transfer the man to a car and onto an ambulance waiting at the sea terminal.
