
A British artist will take to the stage at the Villa Marina tonight, showcasing her career of more than 40 years.
Joan Armatrading is making the stop in the Isle of Man in between dates at Belfast's Grand Opera House and Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Famous for songs such as Love and Affection and Drop the Pilot, her set promises both well known and more obscure tracks from her back catalogue.
Speaking to Manx Radio ahead of the gig, she said even though this was the first time she had undertaken a solo world tour, she feels comfortable doing it:
