MHK questions decision to appoint former politician to meat plan board
An MHK claims putting a former House of Keys member on the board of the Island's meat plant has a favoured status feel about it.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse wants greater transparency when such positions are filled.
It comes after former Middle representative Bill Shimmins was appointed to a temporary position without an open recruitment process.
Mr Moorhouse says there's a feeling of 'jobs for the boys' about Mr Shimmins' new role:

Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
