Does Manx Radio provide value for money for the tax payer?
That's the question which needs to be asked according to John Myers, the man who has been commissioned to provide a report to the Tynwald Committee looking into the future of public service broadcasting on the Island.
Three years ago Mr Myers was asked by the Labour government to produce a report on the future of local radio in the UK and he also carried out a major review into BBC local radio.
He will spend a week on the Island next month (July) before producing his report and says whilst he won't have any specific answers, he will have a view on what he believes Manx Radio should be doing, which he will then provide to Tynwald.
