Former MHK looking to get back into politics
Jon Joughin has announced he is seeking a return to Douglas Borough Council.
Mr Joughin was a councillor before he became an East Douglas MHK last year, after winning a by-election.
He failed to retain his seat in the Manx general election at the end of last month, losing out to Claire Bettison and Chris Robertshaw.
Mr Joughin will stand in the by-election for Victoria Ward, which is taking place on Thursday, November 3, alongside one for St George's Ward.
