MHK says reporters have important role to play
Lawrie Hooper claims journalists in the Isle of Man 'don't go far enough' in some cases.
The Ramsey MHK believes there are some cases where news outlets take what the government says at face value, rather than exploring the issue further.
Mr Hooper didn't specify a particular organisation at which the accusation was levelled.
He says reporters on the Isle of Man have an important role to play in the democratic process:
