A jury considering whether a teenager should be found guilty of murder is continuing its deliberations today (23 October).

Twelve jurors – seven men and five women – are considering the case of the 16-year-old accused of murdering 14-year-old Christopher McBurnie.

He died in Ramsey on 29 May last year after being stabbed.

The defendant, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was also 14 at the time of the alleged offence.

Jurors started their deliberations at 12.25pm yesterday (22 October) and reconvened at 10am today.
