Petrol station in Union Mills hopes to become micro-brewery
A petrol station in Braddan is looking to swap mechanics for beer brewing.
Kaneen's garage in Union Mills has submitted plans for a change of use to turn part of its workshop into a real ale operation.
Peter Kaneen, who is behind the idea, has been home-brewing for the last two years and told Manx Radio he's now 'fed up of fixing cars'.
The proposals include the installation of five barrels to make up a 900 litre micro-brewery for commercial purposes.
