Some year groups have missed lesson time due to staff shortages
Keeping students in classes despite staffing pressures is a priority for the education department.
That's from Education Minister Julie Edge after a number of Island schools had to ask some pupils to stay at home due to teacher shortages in the run up to the Easter break.
Covid-19 and other viruses circulating in the community have been blamed for the high levels of staff absence.
Ms Edge says her department is looking for ways to alleviate the pressure:
'Deterrent' sentence imposed for ketamine importer
Several sailings at risk or cancelled due to adverse weather
Glencrutchery Road to close to northbound traffic

Sulby Straight closure in place this weekend
