People with symptoms urged to refrain from putting out boxes
Those who have tested positive for Covid-19 are urged not to put out recycling boxes next week when kerbside collection resumes.
Anyone displaying symptoms or awaiting a test result has also been asked to hold off in a bid to prevent any potential spread of coronavirus.
Collection services in Douglas and Braddan will resume next week in line with the lifting of restrictions.
The service is scheduled in the kerbside calendar starting with Round 2 on Tuesday.
To ease the process, the local authorities are requesting glass bottles to be placed in one container, mixed tin cans and plastic in another, and any paper and brown cardboard in a third.
A limited supply of boxes and bags are available which can be obtained by contacting the relevant authority.
