Department for Enterprise wants to put up £10m for regeneration
Tynwald will be asked to back taxpayer funding for brownfield sites which are ‘not viable’ for redevelopment without a cash injection.
The Department for Enterprise wants to give £10 million to developers as part of efforts to spark economic and social value to unoccupied urban areas.
The Island Infrastructure Scheme will go before the court later this month – it’s been billed as the opposite of the Manx Development Corporation as it will focus on private land.
