Adjournment for one week defeated
The House of Keys is considering the clauses of the Abortion Bill this morning - after a move to adjourn the debate until next week was defeated.
It had been made by Michael member Alf Cannan, who said the bill had departed from just health matters and into matters of law and order.
He wanted 7 days for the Attorney General to give advice on whether the bill was compliant.
However, after a short adjourment debate, the move was defeated by 14 votes to 9.
Coverage of the clauses debate continues on AM 1368, online and via usual apps.
