Watterson keen to facilitate reform
The Speaker of the House of Keys is set to table an amendment during Tynwald today (20 June) to ensure the Lisvane report isn't 'kicked into the long grass'.
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson wants the eleven recommendations on improving the functions of the Manx government to be dealt with by a committee.
It would deliberate over the proposals and report back to the Court by October this year.
He told Manx Radio it's important to have a deadline to ensure progress is made:
