Appeal for help to continue fundraising
A recently-established charity could be at risk of closure, after several members were struck by worsening illness.
The Manx Kidney Patient Association was formed in 2016, with the aim of funding a new renal unit at Noble's Hospital.
But the group's leaders say continued ill health, and the deaths of some close acquaintances, have left them unable to carry out their work this year.
It's issued an appeal for new committee members to allow fundraising to continue.
An open meeting is being held at the Keyll Darree suite at Noble's Hospital this Wednesday evening at 7pm.
All are welcome.
