Coastguard highlights dangers of cliff diving
Peel Coastguard got called out just after 7pm yesterday evening to help two teenagers, who had got stuck after jumping into the sea at the back of Peel Castle.
A crew member went in and helped them find a safe way out of the water and back up the rocks.
The coastguard says apart from cold setting in they were both unharmed and grateful of the help.
Even though they were only stuck on a small rock section it was tidal and if a member of the public had not raised the alarm it could of been a lot more serious.
The coastguard are reminding people not to jump from rocks or cliffs into the sea or have no safe exit.
If in danger call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
