Douglas primary school pupils will take over Manx National Heritage archives.
MNH staff need not worry, though - it's only for the day.
Over the past three months, the organisation has been working with years 5 and 6 students at St Thomas' Primary School to prepare for the occasion.
'Kids Take Over Day' is an annual event where museums across Britain are taken over by young people - 'Explore Your Archives' is an initiative by National Archives, aimed at engaging people with history in their local area.
The Manx Museum is the first to combine the two - creating it's own event on November 25.
