33 Manx boats hoping for a good catch within new limits
The new king scallop fishing season opens today.
There's a 20% cut in the number allowed to be caught and there are areas where restrictions are in place to preserve stocks.
DEFA Minister Geoffrey Boot says there will be a close watch during the first month of the season to see if the new limits are correct:
