Ribbon cut by four descendants of internees
The new Knockaloe Centre for WWI Internment has been officially opened to the public.
A ribbon across the entrance of the facility was cut this morning (Fri 10), by four descendants of Knockaloe internees.
Cristl Jerry, Trish Phillips, Dawn Kennaugh and Jonathan Grubb were thanked by organisers for their part in the launch.
Until 28 September, you can visit the facility from 10am-5pm, Wednesday to Saturday.
