Project underway for visitor centre
A new visitor centre at the site of a former World War One internment camp will ‘unlock a hotbed of stories’, says the team behind the project.
It hopes to create an entire experience telling the stories of those who lived and work there.
The site in Patrick housed 23,000 prisoners-of-war and three thousand guards between 1914 and 1919.
