John Guest still seeking justice
A former resident of Knottfield children's home has launched a go-fundme site, raising money towards his battle for justice.
John Guest, who gave evidence to the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, is seeking legal advice to ask questions of the Isle of Man Government and police.
In July last year, the committee was tasked with looking into historical child abuse at Knottfield.
At Mr Guest's appearance before it, he said the state-run facility was a 'dark chapter of our Island's social and criminal history', describing the home as an 'unregulated, inadequate, uncaring children's home'.
The committee's first report was presented at the October sitting of Tynwald this week, but will be debated later.
