Manx Wildlife Trust to host beetle workshop
You may drive a beetle - or have been to a beetle drive.
But can you recognise one?
The Manx Wildlife Trust is holding a beetle ID workshop at the end of the month.
It's designed to be a fun day, which is open to all, to help people identify some of the 374 species of ground beetle found in the UK.
It's hoped this can then grow the Island's database of what is a vital creature in the ecosystem.
Biodiversity Education Officer at the MWT is Dawn Dickens:
The Beetle workshop is taking place on Saturday 27th April, from 9am to 4pm . . it's free of charge and you can book online via Eventbrite
