A restaurant in Laxey is aiming to capitalise on the drop in food prices, following the announcement of a cut in VAT.
La Mona Lisa is making special offers to encourage locals to dine out on a week night, rather than waiting until the weekend.
Owner Conor Sullivan says the business has fared well over lockdown by offering a takeaway and delivery service, but admits takings are well below usual.
He's welcomed the VAT reduction, which takes effect next week:
