Event will be missing for second successive summer
Organisers of the Laa Columb Killey Festival in the south of the Island say they have taken the difficult decision to call off the event due to the uncertainty of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The Annual General Meeting will take place either in person or via Zoom on Thursday 22 April at 7.30pm to discuss some alternative events which could take place in the community and at Arbory School to celebrate Laa Columb.
The festival has been held in Arbory for more than 100 years and is held on the Thursday nearest to the anniversary of the date St Columba towards the end of June.
