Reverend calls for improvements at St John's site
The lack of disability access at a church in the west of the Island is 'discriminatory and demeaning' according to the reverend based at the building.
Reverend Canon Margaret Burrow submitted a petition, during the Tynwald Day ceremony, calling for government to improve access at the church.
She's keen to see a ramp fitted at the government-owned facility, which hosts the Tynwald Day service, and believes it will benefit tourists as well as her congregation.
She says the current set-up isn't good enough:
