Bettison's bill before Keys next week
An MHK says new fraud legislation would keep us protected and bring the Island up to speed with neighbouring jurisdictions.
East Douglas member Clare Bettison is set to introduce a Fraud Bill when the House of Keys sits next week.
At present, financial criminals are dealt with under the Theft Act 1981.
Ms Bettison says the lack of fraud law has caused problems in the past:
