New Douglas South representatives appear live on Manx Radio
The two new MHKs for Douglas South aren't from a political background - and that's a good thing, according to the candidate who topped the polls.
Local businesswoman Claire Christian got 930 votes in a by-election this week.
She'll be joined in the House of Keys by former pilot Paul Quine, who came second with 469.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Perspective programme this afternoon, Mrs Christian said she hopes they can hit the ground running:
