BMA and Manx Care open to further talks
The chair of the Isle of Man Medical Society says it's very frustrating that it's taking so long to reach a pay agreement with Manx Care.
Doctors could begin strike action early next year after members of the British Medical Association voted in favour of industrial action.
The pay dispute relates to the 2023-24 financial year, with the BMA seeking a 12.6% uplift.
Both parties have confirmed they're open to further talks, but Dr Prakash Thiagarajan says negotiations have taken longer since Manx Care came into being:
