Livestock farmers in the Island are facing more problems as a result of the severe weather.
Stores of silage used to feed cattle during the winter are running very low.
The situation's been made worse by the late start to grass-growing due to sub-zero soil temperatures and last year's poor silage harvest.
Lack of any pasture for farmers whose land has been under snow is already creating feed shortages for ewes and lambs.
President of the Manx National Farmers' Union Ray Craine says the long, cold winter means farmers have used much more of the fodder than usual:
