Society currently has 35 to 40 members
A society for women in the Island's agriculture sector will celebrate its 60th anniversary next month.
The Lady Farmers Group was founded in 1965 by the late Mary Cringle, and today has 35 to 40 members.
As well as giving women in farming a chance to get together socially, the group raises funds for a number of good causes.
Andrea Faragher is the current secretary, and has been speaking to Manx Radio's Kirree Kermode:
Those interested in joining the group or taking part in the 60th anniversary events can contact Andrea on afaragher@manx.net or by calling 672363 after 6pm.
