Father pleased with police investigation
A man who sold two Island brothers drugs which went on to play a part in their deaths has been jailed in the UK.
Kurt Lailan, 26, was sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court this week for running a 'sophisticated' dark web business earning him hundreds of thousands of pounds.
An 11-day trial heard how, in 2014, Jacques and Torin Lakeman from Port St Mary used his site to purchase ecstasy tablets.
The pair were found dead in December of that year from a drug overdose.
Lailan was found guilty of two offences, judges sentenced him to 16 years behind bars.
His lawyer argued there was 'no causal link' between the sale and the Lakeman boys' tragedy -
