All travel restrictions to be dropped from 1 April
Keeping travel restrictions in place on the Island has become hard to justify in light of Covid-19 rules further afield.
From next Friday (1 April) all border measures including landing forms, travel declarations and testing and isolation will be dropped when the Island adopts its 'endemic' approach.
The UK government dropped all international travel restrictions on 18 March.
Health Minister Lawrie Hooper says he was happy to agree to the move knowing the measures can be brought back quickly if needed:
