Club helps kids immerse themselves in other cultures
Manx children are learning to immerse themselves in different cultures, thanks to two women who are native speakers in Italian and French.
Francesca and Sophie adopted the Island as their home in their adulthood, and now run 'the Language Club Isle of Man'.
They are strong believers in the benefits of understanding a second tongue from an early age, and integrate snippets of several different languages into children's learning - through words, song and play.
Francesca says the sessions teach children more than just words, though:
The Club is holding an open day this Sunday, 28 October.
