Your chance to shine in the parade
Ahead of the start of the festive season in the capital, there’s a chance to play your part.
Today (Saturday) and tomorrow, the Henry Bloom Noble Primary School in Westmoreland Road in Douglas is hosting lantern-making workshops.
Run by Manx Arts Development between 10am and 4pm, they’re free to attend, although under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
Lantern-bearers will then be able to take part in a parade next Thursday evening (November 24) as part of the Douglas Christmas lights switch-on.
