DHA says change would strengthen Island's defences

It's your last chance to respond to a public consultation on plans to require all Steam Packet passengers to carry ID.

The Department of Home Affairs' consultation on the proposals closes today.

It says the measure would strengthen the Island's defences against organised crime, improve passenger data accuracy and align the Island with security practices elsewhere in the Common Travel Area.
