Cllr Natalie Byron-Teare says chance to recognise those who make 'genuine difference'
This week is the last chance for residents of the capital to be nominated for the council's Community Awards.
The 'Young Hero' category is open for children under the age of 15 and a 'Community Champion' is for ratepayers who have made a 'significant difference' in the capital.
It's in its fifth year and recognises those from Douglas who have gone 'above and beyond' and are making a 'genuine difference' in the capital.
Residents have until 31 October to submit nominations - you can find out how to enter HERE.
Councillor Natalie Byron-Teare says awards are 'inspiring' and cover a broad range including charity work, fundraising and working with children.
