Hot race day ahead
Hundreds of walkers are gearing up for what's been described as the ultimate test of endurance.
The 2018 Manx Telecom Parish Walk sets off from the NSC in Douglas at 8am, with 1,322 signed on this year.
Participants have 24 hours to trek the 85-mile course covering every one of the Island's parishes, with race leaders expected to finish in as little as 14 hours.
Liam Parker won last year's Parish Walk in a time of 15:36:59.
Sunny conditions and highs of 20 degrees celsius are being forecast for today.
Large numbers of motorists and support cars are expected around the course for the duration of the race.
