Michelle Haywood says her department is now working with local authorities
The Infrastructure Minister has confirmed that a review into the condition of the Island's social housing provision last took place eight years ago.
Michelle Haywood told the House of Keys her department is working with local authorities to understand what is needed and hopes to use the information to plan to increase stock.
Earlier in the year, the DOI asked all the local authorities, including those without social housing, to provide a report about future developments and what type of homes are in short supply.
