Stoppage time goal gives Ravens third straight win
A Dean Leece strike deep in second-half stoppage time saw FC Isle of Man earn a 2-1 win at Litherland REMYCA in the NWCFL Premier Division last night.
Frank Jones put the Ravens ahead on 66 minutes heading home from a corner after a penalty save from FC Isle of Man’s Adam Killey had kept things level in the first half.
Litherland equalised from their second penalty of the match on 68 minutes through William Dunne after the hosts were reduced to ten men five minutes earlier.
But the Manx side snatched victory in the 93rd minute through Leece’s calm finish to secure a third straight win for the Island outfit.
