A local woman was arrested in the early hours in Ramsey yesterday morning (Saturday) after officers investigated an incident of disorder.
It was reported in Market Square, Ramsey, directly outside of The Royal George public house.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence, by officers on patrol in the area.
It is alleged that another woman had been assaulted prior to Police attendance.
A number of people are believed to have become involved in an attempt to restore order.
