Island 22-years behind in some cases
The chief executive of Manx Care has called the latency between the UK and the Isle of Man 'unfair'.
Teresa Cope was referring to the introduction of a program which would provide advice and guidance to health services about the use of new and existing technologies.
Treasury has approved funding for this program for the first time in the latest Budget - it's hoped it will enable those with UK medical consultancy to be prescribed medication on Island.
However, Mrs Cope says it won't happen overnight:
