A number of new measures for 15 June
There were a number of big changes to coronavirus restrictions, to take effect from 15 June, announced at today's government media conference.
The changes are as follows:
- Aims to reduce the social distancing 'two-metre rule' to one metre
- All restaurants and cafes can reopen indoor dining areas
- Outdoor gatherings rules will allow for 30 people outside, two inside (currently it's ten outside, two inside)
- Rules on visiting people at Noble's Hospital have altered, so that people at their end of life, can be visited by two people
- Hotels across the Island will be allowed to fully reopen
- Gyms can reopen in a limited form, steam rooms and saunas must remain closed for now
