Opinions on public services decline
The latest edition of government's social attitudes survey has been released.
A sample of residents responded to questions about a wide range of issues related to the Isle of Man, which has resulted in the publication of a 90-page report.
Topics covered include the likes of employment and income; housing; safety, crime and justice; and satisfaction with public services.
The section which probably makes worst reading for government is satisfaction with, and confidence in, public services.
Both of these questions have seen declines in every category of public service, compared to previous years.
Elsewhere, the percentage of people who feel confident about job security has once again dropped slightly, and now stands at 75%.
And the number of people on zero-hours contracts, who responded to the survey, continues to rise.
Respondents who feel 'fairly safe' in their neighbourhoods has risen for the third year in a row, but still isn't at the level it was back in 2016, while those who feel 'very safe' has gone down for the third year in a row.
The proportion who feel 'fairly safe' or 'very safe' in their homes has remained relatively static.
The number of people who feel the government has clear policies continues to decline.
