Bill at clauses stage in Keys today (Tues 6th)
The Bill, which the Manx Government says is designed to help cope with the expected tidal wave of Brexit legislation, may have time limits built into its provisos.
The European Union and Trade Bill is facing its clauses stage in the House of Keys today (Tuesday Nov 6th).
But it may have amendments imposed that would require the powers granted to be re assessed by Tynwald in due course.
The proposed additions come from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper who admits that, in a time of great uncertainty, some flexibility is needed.
