Review was completed by ARUP
An independent report into the flooding which devastated parts of Laxey in October has been published today (29 May).
UK professional services firm ARUP has completed the independent review, and made ten recommendations to reduce the risk of a repeat event.
They include improving flood forecasting, managing debris in high-risk catchments areas, and a review of resources set aside for flood risk management.
The Chief Minister Howard Quayle says he will implement all the recommendations in full.
