Concern for road behind affected properties
A landslip at the far end of Laxey promenade has presented what's been described as an 'emergency'.
The incident earlier this month has sparked concern for homes at the top of the cliff on Old Laxey Hill, and the homeowners have been evacuated due to fears of further rock falls.
Garff MHK Andrew Smith says government is trying to organise a 'rapid response' and retain the cliff face from further collapse and the homes from more damage.
But he admits the problem could get worse before it gets better, voicing concerns for the road behind the properties.
