Tasked with addressing Island's "perceived housing crisis"
Six lay members have been appointed to the Housing and Communities Board.
Acting in an advisory capacity, they're tasked with addressing a "perceived housing crisis" on the Isle of Man.
They'll work to put all housing policy, law and provision in one national strategy in the hope of providing suitable and affordable homes for everyone.
The Housing and Communities Board was set up by the chief minister at the start of his administration to look into the housing issue.
The new members will serve on the board for two years - their first meeting is on Tuesday (26 July).
An action plan for 2022-23 was published by the board in March and outlines the work they'll be doing.
The lay members are Andrew Bentley, Gary Clueit, Mark Emery, Timothy Groves, Fiona Robinson and William Shimmins.
