Talk covers history of the circus on Island
Circuses, acrobatics and "evenings of wonder".
That's the theme at University College Isle of Man tonight (Wed 18th) as the International History and Heritage Lecture series moves to its second instalment.
Sue King is delivering the talk about the growth of acrobatic performances on the Isle of Man in the nineteenth century, following research both on Island and in the UK.
The talk takes place from 6-7 in the Main Hall and is free, with no need to book ahead.
