Motorcycle racer airlifted to hospital
Lee Johnston has sustained 'non-critical injuries' following a crash during practice at this year's North West 200.
The motorcycle racer was airlifted to hospital today (11 May) following an incident at Church corner which saw the supersport session red-flagged.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
It does cast a doubt on whether the TT race winner will be fit enough to compete in the Isle of Man this year.
The 34-year-old is also leading the British Supersport Championship standings.
